Course Commandant, Nigerian Defence Academy, Major-General Muktar Garba says Nigeria will be a better place if it has good leaders.

He said this in Abuja at the weekend when the NDA presented a book, ‘War, Society and Leadership in Nigeria’ written by the Department of War and History Studies of the academy in honor of the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim.

According to Garba, Nigeria has talents, resources and manpower to make it the best in the world.

He said the NYSC DG had exhibited excellent leadership qualities and represented the Nigerian Army well.

NDA Commandant Major-General Jamilu Sarham, represented by the provost of the academy, Prof. Isa Garba, said the book would contribute to literatures in understanding the history of wars in Nigeria.

The NYSC DG appreciated the NDA for the honor and urged the military and the academy community to work together to lift the academy to an enviable height.
