Tinubu Appoints Ajuri Ngelale As Special Adviser on Media, Publicity

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Chief Ajuri Ngelale as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

Mr Willie Bassey, Director of Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, made this known in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.

The appointment, according to Bassey, takes effect from July 31 and will terminate at the end of the present administration unless otherwise decided by the president.

“The President urges him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the new assignment,“ the statement said.

Ngelale is a Nigerian journalist, editor, author, reporter, and columnist. He was born on the 12th of November 1980 to a Nigerian father and a German mother.

Ajuri was born in the United States but hails from Rivers State, Nigeria. He was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs.

He studied Political Science and History at the University of Kansas.
