The story there in , is of Rabits in an echo system who daily went to a particular location to feed on CHEESE .
Nice n very well prepared cheese.
They enjoyed it and celebrated each time they fed,. It was good mana from heavens, it was a good time they hoped and prayed would continue for ever.
Surprisingly one morning they reported to feed as usual but there was no cheese .
They hovered around and waited hoping it will soon be brought. By evening they started giving up.
They reported the following day still no cheese. The third day was the same..
At this point some started looking for alternatives. As the days went by majority knew that the game had changed and moved on.
But a few doubters remained. “The cheese can not vanish like that, it will come back. We will do everything to bring our good cheese back”.
The Dangote matter brought this story vividly to my mind.
For years we imported white products into our country even when we had Three refineries with about 450 liters combined capacity.
Sabotuers will not allow them work in other to continue to import..
Licenses were given to individuals with varyimg degree of incentives to build refineries but no body did . At best licensees joined the catel of corrupt dealers in our crude illegally.
As license gave an holder access to crude , many or all of them settled for crude allocation which they sold and made humongous money without clearing any site for intended Refinery….
Then came one “small boy” from Kano , smart and bold , who got a license and built a one of a kind refinery against ALL MAJOR ODDS..
One would expect that the CABAL will wake up to reality but “whosie”
Aliko Dangote has wronged.many groups..
Shippers.
Tank Farms owners.
Independent Marketers.
Major marketers
NUPENG.
Oil Tankers’ owners.
NNPC corruption facilitating officers
Issuers of FAKE BILLS OF LADEN and Fake bills of discharge including,
ALL the importation value chain..
They all want to fight and frustrate Aliko Dangote
They do not realize that it’s an impossible fight. That it’s a fight that has passed their power which you can only wisely turn to play as hausa will say “fade da ya fi karufin ka ……….”
Members of these group must move ahead . Find a way to cooperate with Aliko and allow the river to flow.
We the masses are behind Aliko.
Government especially Federal who is the biggest beneficiary is behind Aliko.
The economy is behind Aliko.
CBN who is relieved of Dollar demand pressure is behind Aliko.
