The 17th Lagos Book & Art Festival

CORAThe directorate of the Committee for Relevant Art, CORA wishes to express our profound appreciation of your onsistent support to our various programmes, mainly designed to facilitate growth of Literacy through Literature and the Arts, in our country.

We are so grateful of your support that we hereby write again to invite your esteemed organization to partner with us in realizing the objectives of the 17th Lagos Book & Art Festival, LABAF 2015, slated for November 13–‐‑15, 2015 at the Freedom Park, Lagos.

This year’s festival will focus on the theme TEXTS of SELF–‐‑DETERMINATION; and it is dedicated to 20 years after the state murder of the writer, environmental activist, and leader of the Ogoni Struggle for self–‐‑determination, KEN SARO–‐‑WIWA, who was killed on November 10, 2005. This theme is however inspired by the struggle of the various socio–‐‑cultural and political components of Nigeria for self–‐‑determination in a democratic system that has been critically observed to be skewed in favour of only the majority tribes.

In particular, we request pre, during and post event exposure on your platform. This in addition to publishing our media promo flyers on your various social media plugins.

Benefit to your organization:
Partnership with the CORA and LABAF on this project, offers your organisation the opportunity of assisting in advancing a worthy cause as part of its corporate social responsibility. Nonetheless, we also offer you the following opportunities, which we reckon will be in tandem with your corporate communications objectives:

Appearance of your organization’s advert/logo as sponsor on all communication
materials, including the festival brochure (which will be distributed to all attendees), posters, hand bills, newspaper adverts, etc;
