  1. Dear Jimi Disu,

My name is Endurance Okinedo, I’m a concerned citizen of Lagos state and a tax payer. I reside at the Festac, Maza maza Axis of Lagos. I have tried to reach you on your 91.3 fm 9am programme but due to work schedule, I can’t call. I need to bring to your notice 2 issues that is giving me so much concern. 1, Traffic Gridlock and 2, Heap of Refuse.

    1. Presidential Task Force has failed woefully. I heard you say that Mr Opeifa((Chairman of the Task Force) said that Vanguard’s report was false. I put it to him that he is very insincere. The report is Apt, full of facts and 100% correct. Mr Opefifa, does not have 10% of the situation at the moment. I drive everyday to and fro that road on a daily basis. As at 8:17am August 1, 2019, the road is locked down. Trucks and Tankers are lined up from Alakija all the way to Mile 2. The task force are not in sight, Area Boys, Agberos are now Agents of the task force collecting Toll fee on a daily basis. The Task Force is absolutely clueless, completely lacks what it takes to ameliorate this issue. My wife was robbed in the terrible traffic and her back glasses shattered and values taken away. Every other day I get to Orile at 7pm and I don’t get home until 9pm at the least; this is a 10minutes drive on a good day. I’m already making arrangement to leave the environment because aside the hours in traffic, it’s more scary seeing those bad boys rob people without help from our law enforcement agents.

The Task Force has failed, LASTMA has failed, Lagos State has failed, they all have failed. we are only good at giving false information to the media without being hands on. I do not see an end to this issue because the task force in conjunction with Agberos are feeding fat from the gridlock.

    2. I have sent countless messages to LAWMA, Governor Sanwo Olu and Deputy Governor Hamzat on refuse that have taken over the Maza Maza, Festac first gate axis but nothing has been done. We complained about Visionscape but now, this present arrangement is not working at all.

Oga Jimi, please come to our aid.

Please, apologies for some wrong spellings of name, I couldn’t proof read because of my location. Thank you
