Vehicles have returned to filling stations less than three weeks after Maikanti Baru, group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), said the days of petrol scarcity are over.
The queues have compounded the traffic woes in the cosmopolitan city as black marketers are having a field day.
The last occurrence, during the yuletide, saw motorists sleeping over at filling stations, while some arrived the stations as early as 5am.
