Late Yoruba actor Murphy Afolabi will be laid to rest today, in his hometown Osogbo.
The news of Murphy Afolabi’s sudden demise reverberated across social media platforms just a few hours ago, leaving many in shock.
Fellow actor and filmmaker Odunlade Adekola confirmed the tragic news, expressing his condolences and offering prayers for Afolabi’s soul to find eternal peace on his Instagram page.
Mercy Aigbe, another colleague of Afolabi, shared further information about the circumstances surrounding his death. She posted on her Instagram page “God”
While Oloketiyi wrote, Sadly, Afolabi’s injuries proved fatal, leading to his untimely demise. Oloketuyi mentioned that he would provide more details in due course:
“Breaking news. Murphy Afolabi has passed away. He succumbed to injuries sustained from a fall in the bathroom. More information to come.”
Adding to the sorrow, Afolabi’s passing occurred only days after he joyfully celebrated his 49th birthday.
