Atiku was not to be a presidential candidate in 1993 and he stepped down.He may be stepped down by the voters in 2023. Interestingly Tinubu stepped down for Ayu to be senate president in 1993 now Ayu is being called upon to step down as chairman of pdp.Both Atiku and Ayu did not get what were offered them in 1993.
Are we not having history repeating itself 30 yrs after June 12 1993 presidential election.This scenario is in line with my position on the radio program I had with Jimi disu in August. My fear is that 2023 presidential election, because of the similar evens that are connecting 1993 and forthcoming 2023 election, will be similar to June 12 presidential election be that was incuclusive and consequently precipitated a national crisis. It appears we have not learnt the appropriate lessons hence we are treading the same path in 2023 election. May God help us from destroying Nigeria

I think the difference is that we are not in a military dispensation.
I also don’t see anyone who can muster the courage to cancel the elections and dark the consequences.
