To start with, I must commend and salute God’s genuine servants and generals who have toiled day and night, in spirit and in truth to preach the gospel of salvation and deliver us from the works of darkness. May God reward them here on earth and may they all make heaven in Jesus’ mighty name!
On the other hand, I have seen a lot of shining stars/destinies diverted by evil men hiding under the cloak of ‘man of God’. I have witnessed beautiful, glorious ladies almost, if not completely damaged, because a selfish ‘man of God’ wanted them to remain in his church so as to enjoy their virtues/potential. The ‘man of God’ would swear with his calling that she was destined by God to marry a friend or fellow church member who carried his ‘father-in-the-Lord’ on his head – someone her destiny should never have encountered! There are so many women out there who would never give their husbands under whose subjection God placed them half the reverence they give their ‘fathers-in-the-Lord’. They’d rather spend all of their salary to buy gifts they’d never buy for their husbands and revel in great joy as they present it to their pastors.
There are millions of youths out there who have lost their relevance and divine placement in life because they’d rather listen to their ‘parents-in-the-Lord’ and imitate them than open their bible! They don’t want to know the Holy Spirit! There are countless youths as well who have slept their glorious destinies away, sold their stars, surrendered their stars to the stupid, bad, devil and completely lost super-duper golden opportunities because their ‘father-in-the-Lord’ didn’t put emphasis on holiness, the narrow way, dangers of sin, fleshly lust, etc. I know a good number of people who are daily pummelled by deep-seated spiritual problems, sinking deeper and deeper in the devil’s dark abyss, living in anguish and begging for money to sow as a seed to the ministry of a so-called man of God who lives a very oppressive, ostentatious lifestyle! I could go on and on! What a generation of foolish Christians! Are we not disgracing Christ who died for us on calvary after going through so much pain?
We must always remember that these men of God are humans, not flawless – NO AMOUNT OF ANOINTING THAT THEY CARRY; they also have their unguarded moments and could be easily manipulated by the devil because they are wont to be under severe attack as a result of their calling, if they have any!
Your father has passed on or he’s alive but nowhere near who you can call a father and you decided to take solace in your father-in-the-Lord; that’s not bad but could be a very dangerous move! Perhaps his biological children don’t treat him as special as you do, so he develops this strange affection for you and begins to call you “my baby”. He hugs you inordinately and eventually begins to lust after you, whose heart he has already captured because of his unfailing attention and generosity towards you. IF CARE ISN’T TAKEN, YOU’D SLEEP WITH EACH OTHER IN NO TIME!
You are a single lady always confiding in ‘Daddy G.O.’ every single day, sending him the best of wishes, more like eulogies, commending God’s wondrous manifestation in his life after every service, telling him he’s the best thing that happened to your destiny. You could be offering yourself to run errands, using your initiative to promote his ministry, telling him to pray you meet a special man like him you’d end up with in marriage while his number one joy-killer is ‘Mummy G.O.’. DO YOU THINK HE CAN’T FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU? IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, HE’D LAY YOU BEFORE YOU BOTH KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING! And the day he does so, YOU LOSE NOT ONLY YOUR DIVINE VALUE BUT YOU BECOME CHEAP BEFORE HIM – HIS SLAVE! And if he’s spiritually strong – YOU’RE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE! He could wreck you as he’d invade your soul and spirit and even if he’s treating you like trash, you’d remain in awe of him and would always want him to sleep with you! That’s the beginning of perdition! He would mesmerise you and the effect on your destiny could be cataclysmic. In fact, you could end up as his clueless zombie for the next 10 years, wasting your entire life! What a tragedy! And God forbid that you fall into the hands of an occultist, he would empty you of your precious virtues and you’d just end up very useless, roaming about life aimlessly with cyclic problems! May this not be your portion in Jesus’ name! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS MATTER!
Now, can you imagine how a young lady would feel watching the world being in awe and reverence of ‘His Holiness’ who defiled her, stole her precious virginity, raped her body, soul and spirit and spewed her out of his mouth? Hmm…What a pity! How sad!
