Can I Go On Holiday And Where Can I Travel Without Quarantining?

Are holidays abroad now possible?
Yes. Technically people can travel abroad for holiday from tomorrow and will not need to quarantine on their arrival back in this country. However, there are several catches. People will not be able to return until at least next Friday, they will only be able to travel into England without quarantining and the guidance on foreign travel only applies to certain countries.

So what’s been announced today?
The government imposed quarantine on all arrivals into the UK a month ago – on June 8 – forcing all travellers whether they returned by air, sea or Eurostar, to self-isolate for two-weeks. At the same time, the Foreign Office has advised against all non-essential overseas travel since March, which invalidates travel insurance.
