Yesterday Morning, A Sum of 30,000 Was Removed From My First Lady’s First Bank Account

Thank you CBN…

Yesterday morning, a sum of 30,000 was removed from my first Lady’s first bank account

The debit alert reads “ONLINE PAYMENT ***** sporty” indicating the fraudster (s) removed the money to fund an online sport betting account

I told her to call first bank customer care line which she did

The only thing the bank’s customer care representative could do was to tell the time the transaction was carried out

The person also advised my wife to block her ATM card to prevent further ‘attack’ on her account

Disappointed right! I simply sent mail to first bank customer care email telling them that my wife didn’t carry out or authorize any transaction

After some hours without remedy. I sent mail to CBN customer service email (cpd@cbn.gov.ng) reporting what just happened.

I insisted i never received any OTP from the bank/payment platform to authorize the payment

About one hour after, my wife called to inform me the money had been reversed.

This is the second time CBN would rescue me from Nigeria banks

The first one was in 2019 when Access Bank held my money for about three weeks over failed transaction

The money was reversed the day I reported to the CBN through the email address

Just imagine if I don’t have information on how to report those thieving banks

Our Mobile phone is NOT just to abuse Aisha Buhari or curse Tinubu

Get emails of federal competion and consumers protection council (FCCPC), Lagos State consumers protection Agency (LASCOPA), and other relevant Govt Agencies

These agencies and several others are there to help you fight for your right

the day DSTV try thrash with me. I dragged them.

Information is key, Knowledge is power…
