I recently watched a video of a Nigerian church leader transitioning from a Rolls Royce to a private jet and then to another Rolls Royce.
Their conspicuous consumption, funded by the tithes and offerings of numerous poor individuals, is unconscionable and immoral.
The Bible teaches moderation and restraint, yet these leaders disregard such principles.
Unlike Africa’s wealthiest individual, who has a legitimate claim to luxury and yet remains subdued, these church leaders brazenly flaunt their wealth, sourced from the poor.
And Why produce and distribute this video?
Would Christ approve of such behavior?
