The ‘White Lion’ appeared in the court a few weeks ago to defend the charge, brought against him by EFCC of looting the State Treasury by illegally taking N80 billion belonging to Kogi citizens
He was granted bail and returned home to a tumultuous welcome by the same people he allegedly stole from.
Community Elders further honoured him recently. In the ceremony, the man who was seen in clutches, virtually paralyzed in Court a few weeks ago, can be seen gyrating boisterously in the video.
It appears clearly that in our clime, morales have finally been thrown to the dogs. Corruption is now a norm. No matter its source, wealth is shamelessly celebrated.
So long, Nigeria. What manner of country!
