Don’t visit the sins of another on others…

It’s a sin against humanity to let the offence of someone work against others…with you.

Learn to deal with people on their individual merits.

Some people can’t even tell how those they are ‘beefing’ offended them,

Except on the strength of ‘hearsay’.

Always imagine yourself in the shoes of others…

The best way to adjudge the rightness (or otherwise) of your actions is to try to imagine yourself in the shoes of another.

Try imagining being wrongly accused (of something) and you won’t be quick to make accusations.

Imagine being stabbed in the back by someone you trust and you will learn to put your ‘indiscipline’ in check.

A lot of the ills that bedevil humanity would be halved, if we simply learn to imagine ourselves in the shoes of others,

…before letting ourselves act.

Remember, this is about how you can help humanity, even from your own corner of the world.

It is said that he who desires to change the world should first start with the self.

Don’t always make money the motive…

Most lucrative deals that came my way happened as a result of services that I offered for free to someone somewhere.

I can’t imagine the life of people who can’t pick a pin for others without making it about ‘the money’.

People who hug every dime actually don’t see enough of the big notes lying around.

One of the ways to help humanity is by not making money the motive, at all times.

Sometimes, go out of your way to HELP people and ASK FOR NOTHING in return.

I have lost count of the number of small businesses that picked up,

And young lives that received a sense of direction, just because one stopped to listen.

And followed up with a heartfelt ‘two cents’.

Where your help is needed, don’t always make money the issue.

The reward may not actually come from where you look.

Life rewards in various ways!

Pay for the services of those that did their job….

Don’t forget that their immediate need is to put food on the table.

Stop testing them…you are not Lucifer.

And they are not Jesus Christ!

Let whoever that has worked for you receive their wages.

Being a slave driver is another huge sin against humanity.

Slave driving is one of the issues killing the drive to work hard in young people.

Who wants to keep working for nothing?

Anytime you treat who worked for you well,

You are helping to restore dignity in human labour.

And actually helping a life resolve to walk more upright.

When you do the opposite,

You have no idea how much hope (in humanity and rewards of hard work) that you have succeeded in killing.

The human mind is a lot more fragile than we can ever imagine.

Help uplift your community…

I describe some of us as mere consumers of the efforts of others.

The positives you see around you are the efforts of people who dared to step out of their comfort zone.

I returned home sometime back to see that someone had built a health centre for the village folks.

That was some years after another person installed pipe-borne water for them.

Some women organised themselves and worked as sanitation task force.

In our younger days, our fathers saw to the security of the community.

The women kept watch during the way, while the men did the nightly rounds.

Yours sincerely visits secondary schools to mentor young girls.

A friend devotes a few hours of her time to rural schools with insufficient teachers.

So many ‘progress’ wouldn’t have been made if everyone had chosen to look the other way!

How exactly are you beneficial to your community?
