The President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump’s frankness is of profound importance for the edification of African leaders.
Trump’s governance style has a compelling story behind it. The “Trump brand” cannot be appreciated enough until you read about his life.
Trump will always follow his guts and kick any ass (apologies to President Trump) no matter whose ox is gored. If he has to swim against the tides to deliver the goods, he will take a plunge. He walked on live coals to get to the top.
Here in Nigeria, the moment of truth has dawned on us. Let’s start from the house of God where Peter (oniru, alata, and the majority poor) is being robbed to pay Paul (the elites) in tithes, offerings and levies collected from the poor to build schools (universities etc ) where the poor cannot afford to send their children sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour and misery as products of hellhole schools. Oh oh, hypocrisy in the house of God!
What about the polity perverted by corrupt politicians? I support the call for the anti-corruption war to be fought like a jihad. Those who kidnap ex-public office holders in their palatial castles may cowardly and selfishly be preempting the ultimate jihad against all looters of the common wealth.
The majority poor being beaten to a state of stupor may sooner than expected produce “The Trump Card”, a revolution to fight back.
