From the look of things, it is obvious that GEJ had been conned. Many people persuaded him to part with a lot of money with the promise of delivering the needed votes for him to be re-elected. They did not deliver.
The list is long, but the under-mentioned are some of the prominent ones who did not give value for money, as a result, GEJ can rightly ask for some rebate or outright refund.
1. Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria TAN.- apart from the fact that they jumped the gun and started campaigning for GEJ long before the umpire blew the whistle, thereby portraying the President as a cheat, they did not deliver on the number of votes promised.
2. Promoters of the National Conference- although many of the participants tried in vain to convince the voters to return GEJ to Aso Rock in order to justify their pay-off at the confab, the poor return on investment is glaring. Some refund would be in order.
3. Many who promised millions of votes, but could not deliver their wards should be treated as 419ners. People like Segun Mimiko fall in this category.
4. AIT who sold the dummy that libelous, third-rate documentaries shown over and over again with each slot being hugely paid for would do the trick, but which garnered more enemies for the President, should be made to give a generous rebate.
There are many more we do not know, who promised to work for the President, collected money, but rather than spread the money, decided to keep a large chunk for themselves thereby short-changing the President. They should be made to regurgitate something.
The president still has the powers between now and 29th of May to get the EFCC on the track of these crooks lest they make him look like the proverbial fool who is easily separated from his money.

  1. Why should the President give to win election. In the first place he was not saleable because of his poor performance in the office. The president is ni different from bribery.
