It only shows that the kind of democracy practised in Nigeria is not a progressive one and that perhaps explains why it is difficult for the country to move forward.
If Ambode as the incumbent governor at the time couldn’t decide what was best for the state and he was said to have incurred the wrath of some people just for making some decisions as a governor, then it means that the nation is not ready to make any progress.
Any arrangement that allows a former governor to continue to dictate to the incumbent is preposterous and until such is jettisoned, the country is bound to perpetual stagnancy.
