Good morning sir,
I have always wanted to send you a mail several times especially when I was going through emotional and psychological trauma but like a Nigerian and a yoruba lady for that matter, I felt I needed to protect myself and my children’s image. I always listen to your programme in morning on 97.3 and I must say, I appreciate your wealth of knowledge on a vast of topics. I wish I had been so many thing and journalism was one of it, I almost accepted a proposal from my then lecturer in LASU for a programme slot on radio but I cannot really say why I turned it down. I have started and finished a lot of stories in my head.
As much as I am really happy that the court jailed Orji Kalu for 12years, while listening to you this morning, I thought of a lot of NOW public servant who have stolen so much funds, those working for government agencies and the ones we all over look mostly the Military men–Air force, Navy, Army and Police.
A lot of times I am sad Nigeria has gotten this baddd. We only have value and respect for people who have money without asking how they came about it. We do not value academics, hard work, respect for ourselves, savings rather we celebrate a lot of bad vices. I just pray something can just be done to change the situation.
What can really be done?
