Here’s What a $21,000 First-Class Airplane Seat Is Like | Esquire

YouTube star Casey Neistat has wakeboarded through the canals of Amsterdam in a tuxedo and snowboarded through Times Square in a blizzard, so he seems like the kind of guy that would just be randomly upgraded to first class on an Emirates flight from Dubai to NYC. That’s right: With a ticket price of $21,635.30, Neistat got the chance to travel 14 hours in extreme, batshit luxury.

We’re talking private doors secluding your seat (“It’s like my own little house over here!”), personal snacks, a writing kit, a motorized drink shelf, toiletries, a huge touch-screen TV, automated window shades, a menu sans-mealtime (complete with caviar and scotch), slippers, and even pajamas.

There’s even a luxury shower available for reservation for 30 minutes at a time! “The real deal. The dream. Showering…on an airplane,” Neistat says in the video.

Sure, the world may be warming up more and more every second, but at least there’s a side of caviar with your extra emissions, right?
