AN 82-YEAR-OLD grandmother who married a 36-year-old Egyptian and revealed their steamy nights together on TV has been reunited with him after he finally got a UK visa.
Mohamed Ahmed Irbriham flew to Britain last Friday and moved into Iris Jones’s £220,000 bungalow in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.
Iris revealed: ‘I found out Mohamed’s visa was approved while in Tesco. There was a lot of happy shouting and screaming. I cried so much my tears were dripping on the apples.’
The gran travelled by coach to Heathrow to meet him off a plane from Cairo.
She said she was ‘absolutely over the moon,’ adding: ‘We didn’t celebrate — we’re just together and that’s celebration enough. We just had a cup of tea together.’

The couple met online in 2019 after sons Stephen, 55, and Darren, 53, bought her a laptop following the death of her husband from cancer in 2016.
Former cleaner Iris said she and Mohamed had ‘very, very similar interests’, including politics, music and literature.
They married in Cairo last October but pandemic travel rules kept them apart while it took a year for a spousal visa to come through. The Home Office had asked for ‘evidence’ of their relationship, their finances and his ‘command of English’.
Last year, Iris made hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby blush on ITV’s This Morning programme when she revealed intimate details of their passionate love life.
Mohamed, who lived in a three- room house with his parents, two younger sisters and a brother, will have to re-apply for his visa again in three years.
