THE Federal Government may have withdrawn the operating licence of DANA Air. A Director in the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), who does not want his name in print, confirmed the withdrawal of airline’s Certificate (AOC).
The source, however, did not give reason for the Ministry’s action, but disclosed that the decision was conveyed to the airline by the Managing Director of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nnamdi Udoh.
JD:This story is inconclusive and slightly confusing.Was the license withdrawn because the battery of one of its aircraft was down?Besides confirming such an explosive story shouldnt be that hard.However its a developing story worth monitoring
