is for Oyo, then why did the Alafin called the recipient of the title as Aare Ona kankanfo of Yoruba land and this has always been the case from the beginning of this title. Let me shock You,Do you know that the Ooni is called the OOni of Ife ,then why do we say the he is the number one of the Yoruba race. Alafin and Oni are at per in terms of ranking,The ooni is the spiritual head of the yoruba people and the the Alafin is the political head.
