This is a business that a proud man or woman cannot venture into. It requires some level of hands on and monitoring.
So we all go to church on Sunday or the mosque on Friday or to the traditional weekly festival etc. we also know that lots of people like to eat and drink healthy, especially people abstaining from sugar.
Why don’t you prepare fresh fruit juice and sell every Sunday in church or every Friday at the mosque, the capital requirement is very low, the packaging is very key, your networking is very key, the preparation requires detail attention as explained earlier but the margins are quite high.
This is a weekly/targeted business and it’s a way of testing your market to determine acceptability before you eventually decide to go full blast on a daily basis, acquire machines, get a space etc.
start small as described above and see how it turns out.
If you sell 200 bottles of various fruit juice on Sunday at N800 = N160k, with a margin of about 40% = N64k per week as a very small business, and with time add fruit salad etc. imagine if you can replicate this in 10 different churches every Sunday (N640k), replicate it to 20 churches as you grow the business!!!
Remember this can only be done by someone who is not proud, as we all know it can be difficult for someone they see in church or the mosque as a “big person” to start selling fresh fruit juice. You can also get a young guy/girl to manage this for you every Sunday or Friday as the case may be.
Please ensure you think this through, document it properly and check your numbers.
Have a great weekend.
