Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Abubakar Bagudu, has appealed to the people of the state to continue to be patient with his administration, saying he would execute more developmental projects to meet their yearnings.
Bagudu, who made the appeal during his Democracy Day broadcast, yesterday, said a lot of achievements had been recorded by his administration in the agriculture, health and education sectors, and in the provision of critical infrastructure.
He urged the people to continue to contribute to the development of the state in whatever ways they could, urging them to fight the spread of COVID-19 in the state by adhering to all the guidelines advised by medical experts.
He said: “I commended the efforts of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the Kebbi State own for ensuring that lives of the people have been protected and their commitment towards containing the spread of the pandemic.
“I also urge the non-governmental organisations and other individuals to monitor some of their projects and give them the reports in order for them to do more and ensure effectiveness in service delivery to the people.”
