AS Nigerians groan over the fuel scarcity across the country, General Overseer worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has urged the people to always have faith in God.
This formed part of his sermon on Friday, at one of the Let’s-Go-A-Fishing crusades, at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo State.
At the event, which also held at the Durbar Stadium, Oyo town and Ogbomosho High School ground, thousands of people gave their lives to Christ.
Pastor Adeboye while speaking on the theme, Priceless Gift, which he said referred to Jesus, described the coming of Christ as a very important gift that God bestowed on His people.
“When talking about gifts, what quickly comes to mind is to know how costly and precious the gift is, or what kind of gift it could be. The higher the price, the more precious and valuable the gift is, but the gift that can never be paid for at any cost is Jesus,” he said.
He called on all to come to Jesus, who has given them all things through His blood and grant unto them victory because everything had been paid for with a priceless gift as a ransom for their lives.
“Once you accept to receive this priceless gift, barrenness will bow; failure will bow; sorrow will bow, and there will be total deliverance from all manners of demonic oppression,” Pastor Adeboye stated.
Present at the event were: host and Pastor in Charge of Region 21, Pastor C.A.F. Obasa; Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and General Overseer, Victory International Church, Bishop Taiwo Victor Adelakun; General Overseer, Fountain of Grace Ministries, Reverend and Pastor (Mrs) Solomon Adebara; Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State chapter, Pastor B.O, Akanmu and Chairman, African Newspapers of Nigeria PLC, publishers of the Tribune titles, Reverend (Mrs) Omotola Oyediran.
