President Muhammadu Buhari played host to Ibikunle Amosun, governor of Ogun state, at his London base on Friday.
Amosun visited Buhari in the company of Daisy Danjuma, a former senator, and one other individual.
The visit came after the rumour mill was rife with reports that the president had died.
TheCable had fact checked the fake news, and discovered it for what it was.
Despite the findings of the reports being false, the rumours kept resurfacing every day.
Not even the pictures of Buhari monitoring a Channels Television programme from his UK base, made “naysayers” back down.
Responding to the ill report, Lai Mohammed, minister of information, had said it is only in Nigeria that citizens wish their president dead.
Last Thursday, Buhari wrote a letter to the senate to inform the legislative chamber of his 10-day vacation.
A statement by the presidency said Buhari would also undergo medical checkups during his vacation.
The president handed over to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.
END
This is jst the handy work of the corrupt individuals we have in this country. Wishing he is dead for them to continue with their wicked ways. God Pass Them! He will be alive and send all of you corrupt people to jail in Jesus Name. I know you will not say Amen, But I say A VERY BIG AMEN.
The wicked shall not go unpublished by God’s grace. For as many as that have wished our dear President dead, will be alive to witness how PMB will transform this country for the good of all Nigerians and to the glory of God. Long live PMB!
