A few days ago,a video of one the most celebrated and heavyweight boxers In the world (Anthony Joshua) seized the internet where he was celebrating Christmas with his extended family in Shagamu,Ogun State, Nigeria.
Despite the fact that Joshua was born and brought up in the UK, his parents make sure that Joshua doesn’t forget his roots by visiting his ancestral home in Shagamu,Ogun State, Nigeria annually.
As a professional, rich and heavyweight boxer, Joshua has countless options where he can celebrate his Christmas in the world, but his parents insisted that it is Shagamu in Nigeria.
Based on the viral video,it was glaring that Joshua was totally happy too by reconnecting with his roots.
In may 2022, Anthony Joshu donated a cash gift and food items to 5,000 people of Shagamu in Ogun State and people of Makoko in Lagos and celebrated with them.
