The remains of late Prince Ademola Adeniji-Adele will be buried at Abari Cemetery, Lagos Island, on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, according to family sources. Prince Adeniji-Adele, who passed on last Thursday, May 5, in an Indian hospital after a brief illness was a former Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government Area, and later Commissioner of Sports, in Lagos State.
He was aged 60 years. According to burial arrangements released yesterday, by Prince Babatunde Adele for the family, events to kickstart the burial will commence tomorrow, when his corpse is expected to arrive from India. Adele said there will be lying-in-state overnight at the deceased residence at No 712 Road, A Close, House 29, Festac Town, tomorrow, while there will be similar lying-in-state at the family house, 9 Idiomo Street, Isale Eko, the following day, Wednesday, between 9am -11am. Subsequently, the lying-in-state will continue at the City Hall, Lagos between 12 noon to 2.pm before a prayer session at Lagos Central Mosque at about 2.30pm, while interment follows by 4pm at Abari Cemetery, Lagos Island.
