UGHELLI—Former vice chairman of Patani local government area, Delta State, Mr. Paul Oge, was on Friday abducted by gunmen and whisked away to an unknown location.
Though details of his abduction were still sketchy at press time, a senior member of Ughelli Vigilante Group confirmed the abduction, adding that the victim was abducted along Isoko Road, close to Uloho Avenue junction.
When Vanguard visited the Ughelli residence of the Oges over the weekend, sympathizers were seen trooping in to condole with the family as they awaited further news on his abduction.
The abduction of Paul Oge is coming on the heels of the kidnap of Mama Elizabeth You-Douwei, mother of the current Patani Local Government Council chairman who was abducted by gunmen from her Abari residence at Patani.
