FG suspends Dana Air’s licence again…..PUNCH

The Federal Government has once again suspended the operating licence of Dana Air pending the resolution of certain safety issues, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has said.

This is coming barely three months after the airline resumed operations following a seven-month suspension after its Boeing Md-83 crashed in Lagos, killing 163 people

JD:There is definitely a need for the authorities to once again do a thorough analysis of Dana operations. Is something fundamentally wrong with their aircraft model?Do they have the appropriate personnel to run an efficient airline?Might it not just be safer to send them packing given the serires of issues that have arisen from their operations so far, especially with the crash in mind?A stich in time they say, saves nine.
