The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has set up a team to investigate the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Babachir Lawal.
A senior EFCC operative told our correspondent that Lawal would also be invited just like a former Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ayo Oke.
The source said Lawal, who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, would not be given any preferential treatment and would be made to face the law if found culpable.
He said, “The former SGF will also be invited. I can assure you that nobody would be given any preferential treatment.”
