President-Elect, Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly named Mr. Femi Adesina, President, Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) as his Special Adviser (SA) on Media and Publicity.
The appointment is yet to be formally announced though, it was reported that the appointment is concluded but awaiting some formality before the official announcement.
Adesina, the Editor-in-Chief, The Sun Newspaper, was recently re-elected as the President of the NGE for another term of two years, unopposed at the 2015 biennial convention of the Guild in Lagos.
The NGE President’s tenure was described by most of his colleagues as the ‘best the Guild has ever had’.
