Breaking: UNILAG Students Protest Over Bedbugs, Mosquitoes Infested Hostels … Vanguard

UNILAG2-e1443424423465.jpg.pagespeed.ic.kwjgWNwFeoStudents of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Akoka, on Monday, shut the university’s two exit gates, to protest what they described as the invasion of bedbugs and mosquitoes in their hostels.

Vanguard gathered that the protest by the irate students which began as early as 7am, led to a hectic traffic snarl within and around the university community.

  1. it is a pity that Government are incentive to the plight of people even the student. in their days, they school abroad, their children also schooled abroad and the develop thick-skin when student are protesting for bad condition of services. i dont blame them, youth are not yet ready to take the bull by the horns. let the protest continue till the government approve fumigation of the hostels. is a shame!

  2. Are these students really serious? So the University is supposed to help them fumigate their hostels? There’s more to this riddance than rubbish

    • It’s the duty of the university authority to fumigate the hostels and the entire environment. Don’t get it twisted
