BREAKING: Judge adjourns trial of Lagos Speaker indefinitely….Premium Times

Adeyemi Ikuforiji is being charged with money laundering.

Justice Okechukwu Okeke of the Federal High Court, Lagos, has adjourned indefinitely the trial of Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

While adjourning the matter, the judge blamed the prosecution for their “deliberate act” to delay the trial.

Mr. Ikuforiji is being tried for a N500 million fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

  1. Why is every level of government leting this country down. Even the judiciary who are supposed to be learned are the ones behaving like illitrates. Too bad. My people say’ the person wey short no get sense, atleast the tall one go get’ it is turning completely false in Nigeria. No brains at all. Common criminal in all sectors of our lives.

  2. Judiciary is not helping matter in this country; indefinite adjournment! d one wey dem give Odilli na perpetual injunction; all na grammar; How are we sure that is not politically motivated? Jail the guy if he’s guilty; otherwise free him and save us these unnecessary drama.
