APC Will Expel Members Involved In Corruption – Chilariye

The chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) Yobe state chapter Alhaji Adamu Abdu Chilariye, has said that, the party can expel any party member found to be engaged in corruption, anti party activities and disloyalty to the party.

He disclosed this while fielding questions from newsmen at the party secretariat, Damaturu Yobe state capital.

He urged of the party members to be disciplined and loyal to All Progressive Congress (APC) at all levels, adding that the party is bigger than any member.

The chairman called on APC party members to keep away from things that will affect the party as well as the leadership of the party in the state, he appealed to party leaders to deliver the dividends of democracy, which they promised during the last general elections.

According to him, “I will like to use this opportunity to clarified that, we noted that a report published by a national newspaper which insinuated a purported crisis in the APC Yobe state following the expelled some its member from the party, we are united” he said.

He added that, “those people who were expulsion from the party due to their anti-party activities and unpatriotic activities considered to be injurious counterproductive and negative development of the party in the state.

“They were expelled due to their negative activities against the interest of the party APC has a manifesto and by coming to APC you agreed to be bound by the party’s constitution” he said.

Chilariye also said that the task ahead of all of us is to support and praye for the leadership of APC governors to succeed in all politics so that at the end , we shall all smile” he said.

He stressed that “when you come to APC, you are embracing the mission and vision of the party as reflected in its manifesto. So if you want to go , you can leave. Don’t you see many people leaving the PDP and joint APC.

Moreover, we welcome anybody coming to APC but if we will penalise whoever engages in anti-party activities.
